Anyone here a fan of the Apocolypse? I am! Well, I think a post apocolyptic world is a cool genre for art and fiction any way. I wouldn’t think coffee would be readily available in such a scenario so I am “against the world ending”, in a non political way. Enough rambling. Looks like The Road by Cormac McCarthy is coming to the big screen! Great news – I think it will totally rock!. OK, what the F? I was walking through the mall the other day, in California, and here is some 20 year old kid puffing on a cigarette working at a kiosk. I thought “that’s pretty bold”. Then I realized it was some wierd electronic, fake, cyborg cigarette thing and he was blowing out vapor and not smoke. It was really wierd! I actually just quit smoking about 3 weeks ago (after SO MANY damn attempts) but I was still quite curious. Have any of you tried this? How is it? I’d be real interested in seeing what you all think of the product. I mean, after you stuff your self at McDonalds and you take a few puffs of this thingamajigger do you get the satisfaction of a cigarette?

Here is an artist I came across today – Zdzislaw Bekinski. He is a Polish surrealist, that I believe has now passed on. I am almost certain I came across one of his books in a Borders book store one day. Looked at his stuff, liked it, meant to jot down a note to remind myself, and then went on.
